Our last few days in London...

So we've been home for almost two weeks now, and I have failed to update our blog from our last few days in London. I'm excited to change our London themed blog, but I feel it's not right until we've finished blogging about our trip there. So here it goes..

We went to see the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace. The weather was not on our side, there was an absolute down pour. Joey and I weren't really in the mood to be 'dancing in the rain', but we stuck it out even though we were soaking wet by the end.

All smiles!

Wet, wet, wet!

For our last day trip, we decided to go to Oxford and see all the hot spots from Harry Potter. We had already gotten tickets for the last movie that night, so we thought it would be fun to see where all the magic happened, especially since it was the last and final movie :(. But we had a lot of fun there and Oxford has some cool things to see.

Christ's Church

This is the stair well that is in the first Harry Potter movie. Look familiar??

The Dining Hall!

This grass area is also in the movies.

We saw this wedding cake at the market in Oxford. If you look closely you can see all the different members of the royal family. We thought it was pretty clever and funny!

We loved Oxford and it was so fun to see the college town, plus all the HP hot spots. It was a great, final day trip!

Yay for England!

We went and walked around the 02 theater (equivalent to Energy Solutions Arena). It was a pretty cool place.

Our last site-seeing adventure was walking across Tower Bridge and going through City Hall. There is so much to do and see in London, it's insane.

There are two car dealerships right next to our flat, and this way cool car was out on the lot. Joey and I thought it was so neat and maybe one day we'll own a car like that!

Katy came out to visit Charles during our last few days there. It was SO much fun to have her there, even though it was only for a few short days. It was so fun to have someone there that we new that we could hang out with. We did some fun things with her and Charles, and this is the only picture that I walked away with...? But we loved spending time with them there. We love you guys!!
Think we have enough bags? We decided to take the tube to the airport which meant that we were in charge of getting all of our luggage there also. It's WAY cheaper, but requires a lot more effort. Especially when you have way too much luggage. We made it though!! All four suitcases and two backpacks. Not bad for a 6 am commute.

This is our one last shot of where we lived. We got a kick out of the fact that our front door said 'Vincent Knight Sanchez'. What the random? Goodbye home sweet home!

Joey's "desk" at work. Teeny, tiny!! Everything in London is so small and compact!

These two beautiful ladies made our experience in London so wonderful. On the left is Kathryn, the secretary in the office that Joey worked closely with, and Jessica is on the right. She is the member of parliament that Kathryn and Joey worked for. These women were so nice and so much fun, and they were so good to Joey and me. We truly feel like we have wonderful friends in London, especially with these two. We miss them and are so grateful for how good they were to us.

That about sums up our adventures in London. I can't believe that trip is over, and I honestly wouldn't change a single thing about our time there. Joey and I were so lucky and blessed to have that kind of experience, especially as newlyweds. We fell in love with London and had such a blast being there together. That place will always hold a special spot in our hearts. We are happy to be home and to have started a new adventure here, and we are excited to see what the future holds. Love you all! XOXO!!
